Normal life is full of injury risk.
From sedentary postures to carrying children, and playing sports to doing DIY, potential damage to joints and tissues is never far away.
And it can hurt. Not just for a few days, but for weeks, months or even years.
In no part of the body is this more common than the back – the spine.
We can’t avoid injury risk, and nor do we want to. We want to keep doing the things that make us happy. But we’d rather not get injured doing them.
All we can do then, is make our bodies more resilient. More adaptable. More able to handle the stresses and strains life throws at it.
In this video, I show you a simple exercise for improving flexion, mobility and resilience up and down your spine. You don’t need to do this every day, but check in with your back now and again. Give it some love.
